Overview
Newstead is a long established care home and has been extensively refurbished throughout. We have a range of communal areas, with multiple lounges, dining rooms and a light and airy conservatory. Bedrooms and bathrooms have also all been redecorated. Our sheltered garden, with large patio, lawn, flower beds and veggie plots, is a favourite of our residents; reflected in our gardens being awarded in Hereford in Bloom.
We offer a continuum of care from residential care, which progresses to nursing care and includes Parkinson's and complex diabetes management and end of life care. Residents get to know our team and feel supported in their advancing care needs, in a familiar, caring, warm and homely environment.
We also offer respite care, for recuperation following time in hospital or an illness, to regain confidence and that zest for life.
Newstead has an excellent reputation for the quality of its nursing and palliative care. Our year on year awards are all testament to the high quality of care and dedication of our team.
