Overview

Shelburne Lodge provides high quality 24-hour nursing care in a warm and friendly environment as well as caring for those living with dementia. Our person-centred approach allows us to truly understand the people we care for and provide the best possible support. We are confident that our qualified and attentive staff deliver a level of elderly care that will exceed your expectations.

Our commitment to the people we care for can be seen across the services we offer, including our cooking, hospitality and the activities we organise for residents. From the standard of the buildings, and the personal care we give, to the quality of food that is served on a daily basis, we are sure you’ll find us best placed to meet your exact needs.

Our home is located in High Wycombe, where it has close access to bus and train stations. Alongside this we have a quiet, secluded garden for residents and visitors to enjoy. We welcome visitors at any time, so please drop in and experience Shelburne Lodge for yourself.

Shelburne Lodge is a residential and nursing home in the area of High Wycombe, which can accommodate just over 50 residents - it has a 'Good' rating from the CQC. Care can be provided for those with dementia. Shelburne Lodge also offers the following short stay services; respite care.

Our care is as unique as the residents who live here. Our person-centred approach allows us to really get to know the people we care for and understand what’s right for them. We encourage loved ones to get involved and give feedback so that we can provide the best services possible. There’s also a whole host of features and facilities available to those living with us that really help to make this place feel like a home away from home.

We are now using handheld digital technology called 'Enable' internally to develop, update and manage our care and life enrichment documentation for residents. We work with one of the UK’s major digital care home documentation providers and have a bespoke platform to manage documentation digitally which aligns with our wish to deliver the highest quality individual care and life enrichment. You will see our team members using hand-held devices as the care plans and life enrichment preferences will be accessed via the device on an App. This will mean that it may look like our teams are using their mobile telephones, rest assured this is not the case and all technology used in the home is there to support our residents and relatives. There are so many benefits in moving to using digital technology to care for our residents, and for the staff working at the home including improving communication and collaboration between teams, increasing accuracy of care intervention recording and becoming more environmentally friendly.
