Overview

Whitmore Vale House is situated on the outskirts of a residential area within two hundred metres of Beacon Hill village centre in Hindhead. The village offers a small range of shopping, social, sporting and religious amenities.

Beacon Hill is close to Haslemere, which hosts free town centre events and an annual festival and throughout the year there are shows, plays, concerts, cinema, exhibitions and fairs and even a circus.

There are a number of high street shops and specialist shops within Haslemere and Guildford is nearby for the full shopping experience.

Hindhead has the Devil’s punchbowl national trust grounds and nearby are Frensham Ponds and Waggoner’s Wells all offering relaxing retreats and the chance for a leisurely walk.

Whitmore Vale House is a large, three storey Victorian house built on three levels, with three different levels of support, organised as three self-contained homes with individual bedrooms they are:

Treetops offers medium levels of support to six fully mobile people, with at least one member of staff available at all times.

Rose Flat, offers higher levels of support to six people with limited mobility with at least two members of staff available at all times.

Wishing Well Cottage offers higher levels of support to seven people, is fully accessible and has at least two staff available at all times.

All three homes have separate facilities in each including; two bathrooms, separate toilets, and facilities such as walk-in showers. Mobility aids such as specialist baths have been made available according to the needs of the residents.

Each home has a large lounge, kitchen with separate dining room and separate utility room. There is an outside patio area easily accessed by all residents.
