We're a residential dementia care, residential care and respite care home in Sunderland.
Based in the idyllic Houghton-le-Spring, Paddock Stile Manor Dementia Care Home is part of the award-winning Orchard Care Homes group, offering exceptional care for the elderly and people living with dementia.
Rated Good by CQC, our care home is warm, friendly and spacious, with several communal lounges and 40 en-suite bedrooms. Each bedroom can be personalised with your favourite soft furnishings, photos and homely memorabilia, so you can truly make the room your own.
With our beautifully appointed garden and decking area, our green-fingered residents have the option to help maintain our garden and plant flowers, or simply enjoy some summer sunshine and relax with a book!
As active members of the Houghton-le-Spring community, we welcome local businesses for regular events in our home; including musicians, schools and entertainers. Our Activity Co-Ordinator organises fun activities every week for residents to enjoy, including birthday celebrations and art therapy sessions.
