London & Surrey Care Group is a specialist provider of tailored accommodation, care and support in the Capital and Greater London. LSCG provides specialist small-scale residential support and a range of supported and independent living projects for adults with learning disabilities and autism.

We support programmes of education, activities and supported employment – at home and in the community – we lead individuals on a journey to greater independence, preparing them for the transition to independent living at their own pace, if approriate.

We work closely with 15 Local Authorities and Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) in and around Greater London. At London & Surrey Care Group, everything we do centres on the individual, giving them positive, person-centred support, surrounding them with others of a similar age and encouraging them to assimilate new experiences and share interests with their peer group.

Autistic Spectrum Disorder
We provide care and support for individuals diagnosed with Autism. Carefully planned and structured, each day will bring a sense of security and routine to these people who have trouble with social interaction, communication and imagination.

Surrounded by the familiar faces of our permanent staff and key workers whom they will quickly get to know by name, they will thrive thanks to consistent support and a range of visual aids that will prompt and stimulate them.

Complex Support Needs
We will help those with complex emotional, learning and health needs, including epilepsy. Guided by the Care Programme Approach, we take time to assess each case, planning flexible support that is tailored to each individual's specific needs.

We will carry out a detailed risk assessment and set achievable goals and realistic outcomes. With access to psychiatry and other health services by way of our local Community Learning Disabilities Team and Community Mental Health Teams, we maintain and review progress, keeping you informed and up-to-date.

Learning Disability, Challenging Behaviour and Mental Health Issues
We support individuals with learning disabilities who may be physically and verbally aggressive, and those who can display self-injurious behaviour. Some who come to us have had a number of hospital admissions or placement breakdowns.

By identifying early signs of challenging behaviour, we can adopt a proactive (rather than reactive) approach. Success takes many forms, with people beginning to enjoy community living, developing new skills and discovering more and more independence.
