Overview
Aden Court specialises in residential, nursing, respite, palliative and end of life care.
Our warm and welcoming purpose-built care home is centrally located in the bustling town of Huddersfield. It is on a main bus route and within walking distance of local shops, GP surgeries, amenities, and local beauty spot, Ravensknowle Park. Our home is characterised by a warm and welcoming environment, where residents enjoy independence and privacy with the reassurance of professional support.
We have well-established, friendly, compassionate, highly trained staff to deliver the best possible residential and nursing care.
An individual care plan is put in place that will communicate any specific needs and support for the resident and their family’s peace of mind. We pride ourself on the care and attention we provide to our residents and their families, to ensure that the physical and emotional support needed is given right from the beginning and throughout their time with us.
Our home has 40 tastefully decorated bedrooms with ensuite facilities for residents’ convenience plus TV aerial sockets, WIFI, wheelchair access and of course, nurse call systems for the safety and wellbeing of our residents. We also encourage those who reside at Aden Court to personalise their rooms with items of furniture, photographs, and memorabilia so that they truly feel at home.
We can arrange daily newspaper orders and deliveries for our residents, there is free car parking for anyone visiting and we welcome pets into our home as we appreciate the positive benefits pet therapy can bring.
We have beautifully set dining rooms where a wide choice of delicious home cooked meals is served, residents will always find something to their taste at meal times. Should a resident choose to eat in the comfort of their own room staff will happily ensure that they are accommodated. Family members and friends are always welcome to join their loved ones over a tasty meal prepared on site by our team in the 5-Star kitchen; we also cater for celebrations and birthdays plus fresh snacks, fruit and refreshments are available around the clock for our residents.
We have 2 spacious lounges where residents can socialise, enjoy their favourite TV shows, or simply relax, we also have a conservatory that overlooks the garden.
A lift enables people who have mobility restrictions to access all amenities in the home.
A large patio surrounds our home’s entrance and there is a private garden at the rear so our residents can enjoy the outdoors during the summer months.
We have a dedicated hair salon, and host regular visits from healthcare practitioners such as the dentist, optician, and podiatrist.
Aden Court Care Home has a spacious activities room where our dedicated activities coordinator holds a comprehensive schedule of events that are designed around our residents’ choices, including arts and crafts, games, pamper sessions and outings.
