Overview

Elm Tree Court is a residential home situated on Preston Road in Hull. The home caters for 72 residents and specialises in dementia care and support. Our support teams care for people with a dementia and our focus is on person-centred care.

We have dedicated Activity Coordinators whose activities enhance the quality of life of all residents and are always designed to cater for individual needs and wishes. We have a minibus which enables residents to be active in the local community and we are members of many local clubs including the Butterfly Club and the Willow Club. We also encourage the community to visit Elm Tree Court.

The Manager writes……

“The philosophy at Elm Tree Court is that the well-being and comfort of our service users is paramount. We aim to set a new bench mark for delivering person-centred care to older people with very complex needs as we firmly believe that each service user must be treated as an individual with dignity and respect. We actively encourage family and friends to play a strong part in people’s lives and we have set up a scheme where residents can keep in contact with family members via Skype.”

“At Elm Tree Court we are proud of our friendly atmosphere where visitors are always welcome, and can also come and dine with their relative/friend, with prior arrangement.”

Kerry Moss – Home Manager
