Overview
The Legard is home to eight individuals with learning and physical disabilities, as well as other complex needs. The focus is on teamwork and ensuring everyone can live life to the fullest. The people we support are encouraged to participate in a variety of activities, with regular house meetings held to ensure everyone has a say in the running of the home and future plans.
Situated three miles from Hull city centre, The Legard offers easy access to leisure, education, and work opportunities. Alongside a good local bus service, the home has a wheelchair-accessible minibus for community outings.
The home is fully equipped with specialist features such as overhead tracking, adjustable beds and baths, and height-adjustable tables to meet residents' needs. Communal spaces include a large lounge, a kitchen-diner, and a sensory room, all of which are wheelchair accessible, with lift access to the first floor. The property consists of eight spacious bedrooms, each conveniently located near shared bathroom facilities.
