Residential Service.
Our spacious 6-bedroom care home situated in Ilford is the perfect setting for adults of all ages to be supported by our staff to provide the highest standard of care. We specialise in supporting clients with sever learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorder and challenging behaviour.
Arlington house has been operating for 13 Years, with 2 of our current service users residing with us since opening and our newest service user being with us since 2019. We see Arlington house as not just a care home but a home for life.
We pride ourselves in delivering a person-centred approach to care, being able to understand and manage conditions and behaviours of our service users whilst developing their social, communication and independent living skills.
Our Aims
We work closely with the individuals, staff, families, and professionals to provide personalised care and treatment plans that enable our clients to achieve positive outcomes. This is achieved by the following:
• Ensuring the clients needs and wishes are at the core of their person-centred plan.
• Providing a safe, secure, and nurturing environment to help clients develop their independent living and social skills.
• Ensuring our staff receive the highest level of training and support, ensuring they have the right skill set to meet the clients needs.
• Supporting clients with their religious, spiritual, and cultural needs.
• Promoting a healthy physical and mental environment that contributes to client’s independence, fulfilment, and overall well-being.
Our clients currently are all 1-1 indoors and 2-1 out in the community. We have a structured activity plan throughout the week to ensure clients are fully engaged in various activities and have a regular routine. Examples of this would be:
• sensory mornings at Elderberry Day centre.
• Weekly cinema outing.
• Aquarium day trips
• Exploring Epping Forest.
• Trips to the seaside during the summer months.
We currently have 3 voids to fill. We are happy to assess prospective clients and create and introduction plan to transition into the home with minimum disruption to their routine and care. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
