Overview

Glyn Thomas House is a care home in the heart of Immingham, which can accommodate just 37 residents. There are 35 bedrooms, 2 of the rooms are double rooms that can be used for a couple or used as a larger room for therapy. Potentially for a bariatric room. There is a lift to the second floor. There are 10 Ensuite rooms with a toilet and sink and all other rooms have a sink and commode availability.

Care can be provided for those with dementia, learning disabilities, and mental health needs. It is also suitable for young people with physical disabilities. Glyn Thomas House also offers short-stay services; respite care, intermediate care, and rehabilitation. We are registered for 18+ and 65+. We can provide daycare and bathing services.

We have a dedicated activities coordinator who works Monday - Friday. Arranging activities around our resident's requirements. We have had various activities, such as Bingo, board games, exercises with Bailey at Be Great Fitness with entertainers visits out to local areas, Bert Boyden centre, Centre Four exercises, Tea and Cake at St Andrew's, Days out to the Schools to listen to the choir and enjoy tea and cake with the children. We are always open for suggestions, we have had a group of motorbikes visit the care home for the residents who would enjoy this, a fishing trip, shopping trips and many more.
