Overview
Baylham Care Centre is a new purpose built care facility which was completed in May 2011.
It is set in stunning countryside overlooking the Gipping Valley between Needham Market and Great Blakenham in Mid Suffolk.
As part of the Optima Care group, which includes Barham Care Centre , the Centre enjoys an excellent reputation with general practitioners and social workers in the area. It is well positioned and serves the populations of Ipswich and surrounding villages. There is a good bus service stopping just 100 yards from the entrance, which runs between Ipswich and Stowmarket. Baylham is also two minutes away from the A14 and is very accessible by road.
Baylham Care Centre offers short or long stay care, respite, rehabilitation and day care services. Our admission arrangements are kept as flexible as possible to ensure we accommodate you in transition as much as possible.
Our principle aim at Baylham Care Centre is to provide care to all residents to a standard of excellence and to provide a happy, stimulating, stable and suitable environment. We believe in constantly striving to improve the services provided.
We embrace the fundamental principles of person centred care and good care practice, whilst responding to statutory requirements of new legislation and regulations concerning the provision of our service.
At Baylham, we offer services to individuals who have been in hospital for an illness or surgery to enable them to convalesce in pleasant surroundings. Physiotherapy will be provided according to a plan of care for a period that is agreed with you and the physiotherapist. We also provide support to those needing after care in their own homes by liaising with homecare agencies to arrange a care package.

Our aim is to build a personalised care plan, regularly reviewed with care plan meetings with your key worker and named nurse where you can meet and share with us how you are feeling about things now and what you would like to do and be included in your care plan for the future.
In order to provide comprehensive care, staff will ask you a lot of private and personal questions. We would like to reassure you that all staff are contractually bound to respect and maintain confidentiality at all times.
