Norwood was previously a bishop's palace but has been refurbished into a comfortable, calm, home from home. The home provide personalised care in a warm, supportive and friendly environment. Residents enjoy a varied schedule of optional events and activities including armchair exercises, gardening, baking, quizzes and arts and crafts.
Norwood is located in Ipswich, Suffolk just a 10 minute walk from the town centre with its shops, restaurants and pubs. It backs on to the town's beautiful Christchurch Park and Mansion. A five minute taxi ride or 15 minute walk takes you to the marina which is lined with shops, galleries, the Maritime Museum and cafes which are perfect for afternoon tea.
