Overview
Moorfields Lodge is a residential home in Haworth for four autistic adults, providing high-quality support to promote independence and fulfilling lives. We emphasise consistency and structure to help the people we support build social skills and independence through activities like cooking, shopping, and shared tasks. Social interaction and relaxation with friends and family are encouraged.
The people we support enjoy personalised bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and access to communal spaces, including two lounges, a music room, sensory room, arts and crafts conservatory, dining room, and kitchen. The sensory room offers therapeutic benefits, while the quiet lounge provides a low-stimulation space. A large garden with fruit trees and a vegetable patch is also available.
The people we support enjoy trips to the zoo, seaside, swimming, cinema visits, and more, as well as holidays and visits to nearby tourist attractions.
