Overview
Beaumont nursing home provides nursing care for the placement of up to 28 people aged 40 onwards. We specialise in the caring for individuals who are living with cancer, colitis, Crohn’s disease, Parkinson’s disease. Individuals who have experienced strokes or have speech/ visual impairments. As well as those who are unable to live independently, and require help washing, dressing and all aspects of personal care.
At Beaumont we feel that we are more than a nursing home, we strive to make Beaumont our client’s home, a place where they can retain their independence and personal freedom to live their lives with enjoyment and fulfilment.
We are enormously proud to provide our clients with the highest standards of care possible. We understand that each client is an individual, who has their own wishes, likes, dislikes. We take a person-centred approach towards not only a clients care and nursing needs, but also towards their social, psychological, and spiritual needs. Whilst ensuring they are treated with dignity and respect.
Care at Beaumont is provided by a dedicated and experienced team of registered general nurses (RGNS), health care assistants and domestic staff, overseen by a full time RGN registered manager who has also completed the registered manager award. As part of our ongoing quality programme, we encourage and support the professional development of all staff, and all par-take in regular training. We take immense pride in the positive feedback we have from our clients and their loved ones.
We recognise the importance of our clients being included in the planning of their care, staff will always listen to clients' views and opinions about their care.
We support residents to make informed decisions about the care and treatment they wish to receive. We worked hard to achieve the Gold Standards Framework award for delivering excellent end of life care. All staff have an understanding of what this involves, and we aim to guide families at difficult times with our knowledge and experience in this.
