The objective of Signature of Coombe (Operations) Limited at Coombe Hill Manor is to excel in the provision of its services, in order to provide the highest possible standard of support and care for those people who choose to reside in our home.
It is our objective that residents participate in shaping a dynamic, inclusive, open home, dedicated to wellbeing, and embracing individuality in a comfortable and safe environment.
The wellbeing of the resident will be at the heart of our homes. Support and care will be delivered respectfully and sensitively, ensuring both dignity and privacy, in order to meet individual needs and promote abilities. We will support each resident’s independence, their right to make informed choices and to take risks in order to exercise real control over their lives.
We will deliver support and care in a flexible manner, respectful of each resident’s needs and values in matters of religion, culture, race, ethnicity and sexuality.
Our activities programmes will reflect the value placed upon maintaining social contacts and cultural links with the wider community. Support will be provided to those residents who wish to pursue lifelong interests and continue with the joy of continuous lifelong learning. Our social events will reflect the interests of the residents, and we will discuss with them what activity programme they would like to see in place.
Meal service will provide a choice of dining experience including social and private dining. The menu choices will be varied and nutritious and respectful of individual dietary requirements and tastes. We will ensure that food is freshly prepared and cooked daily to a high standard.
To assist us in meeting our aims and objectives we have developed a comprehensive range of care policies and opportunities for staff to develop their careers through training and further study. Monthly quality assurance audits and consultation with residents and relatives through regular meetings and bi-annual customer surveys, will ensure we maintain our service at the highest possible level.
