Overview
Guiseley Manor is a purpose built care home offering private bedrooms with full ensuite wet-room facilities. Each bedroom is fully furnished and has a Smart TV that can be linked to our varied wellbeing programme. Gound floor rooms have direct access to beautiful gardens through private patio doors in each bedroom and the upper floors have large terraces allowing residents to have direct access to the outside in all areas of the home. There are a number of communal areas on each floor, these areas are furnished to allow residents to sit in small groups either with other residents or their families and friends. There is a communal bathroom on each floor which has an assisted jacuzzi bath with subtle lighting and music, offering a relaxing spa experience for residents. A daily wellbeing programme is available for all residents, this incorporates residents own interests as well as allowing them to try new things. Residents have the opportunity to go on weekly outings to local places of interest. The nurse call bell is silent so residents are not disturbed by too much noise and at night we use acoustic monitoring, with consent. This avoids unnecessarily disturbing a resident, who does not require care intervention, just to check they are ok.
