Overview
Oakhaven is a delightfully friendly residential care home for adults. We are located near Roundhay Park in the green and pleasant residential area of Oakwood, Leeds. As a smaller-than-average residential home, our amazing and dedicated staff team can spend lots of time supporting the 24 adults living in our homely surroundings with their day-to-day living and ensuring they live safely. We support people on either a permanent placement or shorter respite stays. With an activities coordinator at our home, there is always lots of activities taking place which are led by resident’s interests and hobbies. These range from regular quizzes, bingo, chair yoga sessions and social outings to garden centres and local parks. We also have external entertainers in service, whether music and singles, animal interaction experiences, or local toddler groups visiting us.
Oakhaven is a special place, with a caring and consistent staff team. Our home has a warm and welcoming feel, and our residents live together safely as part of a community.
We have ensuite bedrooms, accessible bathrooms and a visiting pod to keep people safe during visits. There are TV lounges, a conservatory, enclosed gardens and secure patio area for people to enjoy. Our staff are experienced in supporting individuals in a person-centred way, with additional experience in supporting people who live with symptoms of Dementia. Internet and WiFi are available at Oakhaven for our residents to use. There is a call button system and parking available at the home.
