Rushmore House is a purpose built 30 bedroomed Specialist General Nursing Home situated in the Hunslet area of Leeds. and has a 'Good' rating from the CQC. Our Care is uniquely designed to provide individual nursing care within a safe, friendly, and comfortable environment. We take great pride in the individual attention we give to every resident, to ensure all our residents enjoy the very best possible quality of life when they join us and within no time at all they feel like it is their home. At Rushmore House our Nursing Care facilities are designed to give comfort and familiarity to those requiring nursing care. Our person-centred care is individualised and based on a person’s life history, whilst also involving and empowering their families. Specialist 24hr Nursing Care
As well as maintaining the highest possible standards of personal care, we offer expert nursing care. Working closely with local health care professionals, our fully qualified nursing staff are able to offer dedicated medical care to our residents, 24 hours a day. Nursing care goes beyond the everyday welfare of our residents to include such things as provision of post-operative care and specific nursing support for chronic and terminal illness.
Accommodation
We offer nursing care with specialist care provided for Palliative, End of Life Nursing requirements. All our bedrooms are furnished and come equipped with electric profiling beds, vanity unit, armchair and commodes, bedside cabinet, cantilever tables and a set of drawers and wardrobe. Specialist equipment is also provided if required, such as bed and chair sensors, low beds and bed rails and whilst all rooms are fully furnished, the Home does encourage residents to bring with them familiar personal items to make themselves feel at home. Our communal areas are centrally located in the home and are designed to provide comfort and a homely feel, where our residents can relax and socialise.
Activities
We are committed to providing innovative and stimulating activities for our resident’s enjoyment’. We take a proactive and holistic approach to activities, providing as much one-to-one-person centred activities as possible, alongside our group activities and interactions. Activities not only mentally stimulate and physically motivate our residents but also enhance their quality of life and wellbeing.
