Overview

Agnes House accommodates 26 residents on a long term or respite basis offering the very highest standards of care to all. Each bedroom is single occupancy with en-suite facilities, television point and a 24 hour call system. Our spacious, sunny dining room offers a relaxing place to take meals, with a good choice of menu and can cater for individual dietary requirements.

Set in five private picturesque acres, Agnes House offers safety in a secure environment. Fostering independence and trust at the same time as providing optimum levels of care and attention to all residents.

The Care home is adjacent to the Charity's Almshouses where a further 80 older persons reside and the two services operate together to provide a seamless range of social activities and opportunities. The Charity employs a full time Chaplain to provide pastoral support to all our beneficiaries and we also have a on site Chapel, St Ursula's that incorporates not only a place of worship but also a concert space. The adjacent Lancaster House almshouses also have a large lounge used to host celebrations throughout the year.

The Charity also operates a further Almshouses, Trinity Hospital, in Western Boulevard, providing a further 23 flats for older people.
