Mere and Spinney Lodge specialise in providing high quality residential care to meet the assessed needs of adults with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, complex needs, autism and associated challenging behaviours. Staff will strive to preserve and maintain the dignity, individuality and privacy of all service users within a warm and caring atmosphere, and in so doing will be sensitive to the service users' ever-changing needs. Such needs may be medical / therapeutic (for physical and mental welfare), cultural, psychological, spiritual, emotional and social. We promote strong links with the local community empowering people to access local amenities, public transport and education opportunities where possible enabling social integration and aiding activity of daily living. Mere and Spinney Lodge are Victorian terraced houses built in the 1840’s, based in Highfield, Leicester, with great views of the local park. Both services have 4 bedrooms with communal living spaces. Our experienced and qualified staff members, working in collaboration with local and regional health/social care teams strives to deliver high quality, progressive individualised care within a safe and homely environment. Our aim is always to promote a way of life for our service users, which enables them to enjoy, to the greatest extent, their rights as individuals.
