Overview
At Calvert House, we offer residential support for eight adults with brain injuries. We are Headway accredited and provide support for both rehabilitation and non-rehabilitation needs, alongside challenging behaviour, learning disabilities, mental health needs and physical disabilities.
Our wheelchair accessible home features ceiling track hoists. Our eight apartments are bespoke and created to individual preferences and feature spacious living areas, bedrooms, and en-suites. Almost all of our apartments have a separate kitchen for meal preparation and skills development in the comfort of personal space. Our apartments are spread over two floors, with the first floor accessible via a lift. We have a shared communal lounge, kitchen, and a dedicated activity room on the ground floor. Outside, we have a large accessible garden with both patio and grassy areas, perfect for a variety of activities.
Calvert House is located in Leyland, a lively market town with a wide range of local amenities. We benefit from good transport links to nearby cities and attractions, including woodlands, a park, museum, restaurants, and colleges. Our team priorities social inclusion and community involvement while promoting safety and respect for the people we support.
