Overview
Lobswood House is a Home situated in the popular seaside town of Littlehampton.
We accommodate 26 Residents. We specialise in looking after Residents with Alzheimers disease and other types of mental illness. We offer the following: permanent/short stay services, respite care, as well as, day care to help the community to have a break for a few hours whilst we take care of their loveones from 9am to 5pm.
We endeavour to create a warm and homely environment, which is none institutional and where we try as much as the individual Residents allow us, to allow them as much choice as possible in participating in their day. We are flexible in providing our care and in our daily planning and offer security and stability in a supportive and caring environment, as well as a wide range of activities within comfortable surroundings, where families and carers can continue to take an active part in our Residents care.
Lobswood House’s Philosophy of Care is giving the best care to our Residents, making sure they will have a safe, comfortable (relaxed) & supportive environment.
We provide a person-centered care where all our skilled staff has time to give attention to small detail, being sensitive to our Resident’s ever changing needs. These may be medical, welfare, cultural, psychological, spiritual, emotional or social needs

There are good local amenities, shops, library, churches and clubs, with beach and esplanade which is 5 minutes walk away. The major towns of Bognor Regis, Worthing and Chichester are easily accessible providing facilities for golf, bowling and theatres, etc
