Overview
Willow House Residential Home is a home in the Hightown area of Liversedge, which can accommodate 30 residents - it has a 'Good' rating from the CQC. Willow House Residential Home also offers the following short stay services; respite care and discharge to assess. It is set in its own grounds adjacent to park land and open countryside yet well placed to local amenities and easy access to local towns of Cleckheaton / Heckmondwike and motorways both by car and bus services. The home as its own gardens with paved seating areas and flower beds and all areas are wheelchair friendly but the grounds are secure for the residents safety. There is a local shop within 10 minutes’ walk. There are 30 bedroom of which are 26 single rooms, each one furnished and decorated with character and individuality and 26 are en-suite. Residents are free to bring own small pieces of furniture and personal possessions to enable them to personalise their room. There are three bathrooms with adapted baths providing choice for our residents. Toilets have adaptations which enable them to be accessed by all residents. The home has a 13 person passenger lift, two lounges, a dining room, a large heated conservatory with activity area and views of the garden providing both residents and visitors with a choice of seating arrangements.
Depending on individual preferences the home has several communal tv’s, games, books, cd’s, audible books, DAB radios, 42inch interactive tablet with apps as well as daily newspapers. An hairdresser visits once a week, Yoga therapist twice weekly, musical entertainer visits once a week, Motivation and Co once a week as well as activities’ organised by the home’s staff.
