Overview
Introducing Harold Lodge
Harold Lodge is a 24-hour residential care home for up to 4 adults, designed to support people with learning disabilities, autism and other complex needs. We support people living at Harold Lodge to lead active lives in which their individuality, independence, dignity and respect are maintained. We fully embrace person centred planning, ensuring the person we support is at the centre in the delivery of our high-quality care and support. Our staff are trained, including in autism, positive behaviour support (PBS) and person-centred care.
The people we support at Harold Lodge are encouraged to participate in a wide range of activities of their interest. These include accessing the community, visiting nearby parks, going to the cinema, visiting leisure centres and shopping. Some of the individuals are supported in voluntary employment. In-house activities include painting, arts and crafts, and gardening. People we support are also encouraged to partake in life skill sessions including meal planning/preparation and budgeting.
