Overview
The Spinney Care Home in Chingford, London, provides award-winning residential and residential dementia care.
The skilled and experienced team is dedicated to delivering dignified, personalised care, tailored to each resident's unique needs and preferences. With decades of collective experience, whether providing personal care, assisting with daily activities, or supporting families, the team works as one to enhance the lives of their residents.
With a focus on making life meaningful every day, there is a holistic activities programme to suit all interests and abilities. This includes fun music and movement sessions, creative arts and crafts classes, and calming Namaste Care and pet therapy.
Residents are supported to maintain links with the local community, regularly welcoming performers, and children from Normanhurst School, as well as enjoying excursions to local places of interest. The home also runs a ‘make a wish’ initiative, granting residents' wishes, big or small.
Set over three floors, The Spinney is a welcoming and friendly home that offers comfortable en-suite bedrooms, spacious lounges, and a bustling bistro. Residents can relax in the sunny conservatory (which is also a favourite spot for Ruby, the home's affectionate therapy cat) and take a stroll in the large, sensory garden, which also plays host to activities, events, and the residents’ Gardening Club.
