Overview

The Wolds Care Centre is a 66 bed Care Home situated on North Holme Road in Louth. The home provides a home for life within its specialist dementia, nursing and residential care communities. All bedrooms are spacious, boasting their own en-suite with wet room and each room is furnished to a high standard. Residents and their families are invited to personalise their rooms, creating their own unique environment, reflecting the individuality of the occupier.

The Wolds Care Centre has been designed around a Community Hub. The home has the luxury of a café, garden room, shop, cinema, activity room, a multi activities room, library with WI-FI and internet access, and a sensory room. Residents can also enjoy the use of the on-site hair & beauty salon, where not only can they get their hair styled but also make use of the pedicure and reflexology services available. A multi-faith room is also provided which is used for regular services. A dedicated Activity Coordinator arranges for meaningful and engaging activities to be available daily, for everyone.

We are delighted to report that in April 2022 The Wolds Care Centre won the Gold Standards Framework for the second time. This award recognises health and social care providers who deliver quality care in the final year of life. The Wolds Care Centre is one of only 42 care homes, primary care, domiciliary care agency and hospitals across the county which will receive the prestigious quality hallmark. To win the award a service must show that it met strict criteria in 20 different areas, ranging from leadership and support to dignity and respect, as well as submit a portfolio of evidence. More information on this award can be found here.

The Manager writes:

“We have always prided ourselves on the excellent care we provide the people who live with us. Our Gold Standards Framework has recognised this and helps us take our care to the next level, ensuring that people enjoy their lives, receiving the high quality care they want in their chosen place, right up to the end of their life.”
