New Thursby is a 39 bedroomed Nursing home it is a handsome redbrick house has original period features as well as a modern, purpose-built extension. Set between sand dunes, the home enjoys a peaceful location with stunning views over the Irish sea, while being a short distance from local amenities.
New Thursby has a 'Good' rating from the CQC.
New Thursby is owned by Century Healthcare
Established in 1998, Century Healthcare is one of the leading providers of care for older people in the Northwest of England. We offer the very best of care, including residential, nursing, specialist dementia care units with respite and short stay.
The home has two secluded internal courtyards, featuring raised flower beds. There is also a conservatory and a patio area with extensive views of the coast and beyond. Other features include spacious lounges and a conservatory, where residents can interact, watch television, or find peace and quiet. The home also enjoys breathtaking views of St Anne’s Old Links golf course, landscaped garden areas featuring a fountain and a pond. There is also purpose-built wet room facilities and a dedicated hairdressing salon.

We have a hairdressing salon located in New Thursby and a hairdresser visits every Monday.
Podiatrist
We have a mobile Podiatrist who visits every 6-8 weeks.
