Overview
Miramar Nursing Home was established in 1985 providing specialist care for people aged 30 plus years with Mental Health Conditions and Learning Disabilities. Our Care is centred around the person. We all have individual needs and wants, which can be very different to the next person.
Miramar understands this and our approach to care is founded on this way of thinking. To deliver this the home provides personalised care with the individuals as paramount. Residents choose how to spend their day and are supported by staff to engage in social inclusion: e.g. visits to the library, local shops, social club and local cafe's.
Registered for 28 beds, the home is arranged over two floors with the majority of bedrooms on the first floor accessible by two staircases and a passenger lift. There are two lounges, 1 TV Lounge and 1 Games room, which is sometimes used for visiting entertainment teams.
There are also two dining rooms where nutritional home cooked foods using fresh ingredients are served from our 5 star rated kitchen, residents are encouraged to use these communal rooms, however those who choose to stay in their own rooms are free to make that choice.
Miramar Nursing home is situated in the seaside town of Sutton on Sea approximately 3 miles from Mablethorpe. Access to the promenade is a 5 minute walk away.
