Family run care home with family values - Makes us so much more than just a care home

Evendine House Residential Care Home has a great reputation in the area for offering very high-quality accommodation and exceptional care provided by very experienced, highly skilled and fully qualified long-serving staff. We offer residential care, specialist dementia care, respite and day care and couples care in a comfortable, warm and welcoming environment. At Evendine, we can provide respite care from 1 week upwards as well as day care services for people who need support with their personal care during the day, but are able to return home for the night.

Situated in the Herefordshire countryside and in the lovely village of Colwall, Evendine House is a residential home with a traditional country house feel. Set in over 2 acres of landscaped gardens and with stunning views of the Malvern Hills, Evendine House offers high quality care in a remarkable setting.

Catering for just 19 residents, our home has a wonderful family-oriented atmosphere. Everyone knows each other at Evendine House, which gives our home a very strong sense of community compared to larger care homes. Elderly people often don’t feel comfortable in large new build homes with expansive living areas, so our cosy and well appointed communal areas provide a truly homely feel for our residents.

Our services are personalised for each resident through the use of very detailed and individually tailored care plans and packages. Our staff work hard to ensure that our residents’ needs and wishes are always catered for. Some of our other care services include regular visits from healthcare professionals as well as chiropody, beauty treatments, and hairdressing.

At Evendine House, we are passionate about delivering the highest quality of care in order to maintain the health, happiness and maximise the overall wellbeing of all of our residents. Our professional team are committed to ensuring that our residents always feel comfortable and at home.

Our aim is to provide a ‘home from home’ environment in which there is a true sense of community. We offer a wide range of activities to suit all interests and encourage the involvement of both our residents and their families. As well as regular family events, we also offer free afternoon tea and dinner for family members and friends - there are no restrictive visiting times and families are always welcome.
We work hard to ensure that our residents feel happy and fulfilled each and every day. Our fully qualified and skilled team deliver a wide range of activities on a daily basis. These activities provide residents with the opportunity to socialise, practice some of their favourite hobbies and also discover new ones.

Our staff work hard to ensure that our residents needs and wishes are always catered for. Bespoke care plans and packages are continuously reviewed to ensure that our residents receive the highest quality of care and support based on their own personal preferences and evolving requirements.

We do try to offer our residents as much independence as is possible. Whether it is teaching new skills to others, making your own drink, helping with laundry, doing some gardening, or visiting family and friends, your freedom and independence is always respected at Evendine House.

Evendine is truely different from many other care homes and those differences are best appreciated by visiting which you are very cordially invited to do .
