Overview
Newly refurbished, The Springs provides both short and long term care for people living with dementia. Its team of highly trained staff includes registered nurses and carers who have undergone extensive training in dementia care and support.
The home has been designed to ensure residents with dementia can live well and includes features such as reminiscence areas and eye-catching pictures to help residents orientate their way around the home. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities, underfloor heating and a flat screen television.
A wide variety of flavoursome, balanced meals are on offer and there is always a cold option available. Afternoon tea usually includes a homemade cake and hot and cold beverages are always available.
Great importance is placed on ensuring residents receive regular stimulation through participation in activities and there is a full programme of entertainment and outings.
