Marion Lauder House is renowned for its excellent care services, with a team of experienced and dedicated personnel always on hand to ensure that all needs are catered for. With 24-hour support from our nurses and carers, you’ll have peace of mind knowing that your safety and wellbeing is our priority.
We also understand how important it is to keep connected with friends and family back home. That’s why we provide activities such as family visits, emailing, telephone calls and Skype sessions, allowing you to stay in touch with those who matter most.

ACTIVITIES
Our team strive hard to provide plenty of engaging activities which help stimulate body and mind. We have a wide selection of activities tailored to suit the individual needs and interests of our residents, ranging from arts & crafts sessions to gardening projects, puzzles and more! There’s something for everyone here at our care home.

DINING
Our carefully crafted menus are designed to meet the nutritional and dietary needs of our residents. We use locally sourced, fresh ingredients as much as possible in all of our meals. Our chefs take great care to ensure that their dishes are cooked to perfection, achieving maximum flavour and texture.

At Marion Lauder House, we understand that everyone has different requirements and preferences which is why our team of professionals are committed to providing care and support tailored to an individual’s needs. With 79 bedrooms, all finished to a high standard, coupled with state-of-the-art facilities and shared spaces, residents are able to enjoy their own quality of life in comfort.
We aim to create a homely and welcoming atmosphere for each resident by taking the time to get to know them as individuals and understanding what matters most to them. As such, we strive to provide personalised care plans that meet their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs.

DEMENTIA CARE
At Marion Lauder House, we know that dementia requires a personalised approach. With this in mind, our expert team of carers develop and implement tailored plans for each individual resident who joins us. This plan is based upon the needs, abilities and wishes of each person, ensuring that their physical and mental health is given priority at all times.

Nursing Care In Our Homes
Residents and their families can also expect a commitment to continuous quality improvement in our Nursing Care services. This is achieved through on-going staff education, environment of care assessments, and regular communication with you regarding your family member’s health status. Our dedicated team of nurses provide individualized care plans tailored to the needs of each resident that include: observation and assessment, assistance with activities of daily living, medication management, health promotion, coordination between residents and outside healthcare providers, and accessibility for questions or concerns. We are committed to providing compassionate nursing care and helping residents maintain their highest level of independence possible. We strive to create an atmosphere where residents feel at home while receiving medical attention and social stimulation that encourages meaningful relationships with others.

Personalised Palliative Care
We understand that palliative care can be a difficult and emotional journey for both the person receiving care and their loved ones. That’s why our team of nurses and carers ensure that in addition to providing medical support, they also provide much-needed social and emotional support. Our team are highly experienced in helping people cope with emotion during this difficult time, offering comfort and reassurance to both the resident and their family.
Care is tailored to each individual’s needs, enabling them to live as comfortably as possible while they undergo treatment or manage pain. Our staff will work with other health professionals such as GPs or specialists to create an individualised plan which meets all of the resident’s needs.
