Overview
The Rookery is a specialist residential service for adults with a Learning Disability, mental illness and who may have dual diagnoses and associated complex needs.
The service has 7 en-suite bedrooms and provides twenty four hour support. All colleagues are NAPPI (Non Abusive Physical and Psychological Interventions) trained. The people we support may have spent long periods of time in a hospital setting or may have additional complex needs including sensory impairments and communication difficulties.
The service has two communal lounges, kitchen and dining areas and large outside space with a lawn area. There is a shared bathroom on the ground floor, as well as a shared bathroom upstairs in addition to the ensuite shower rooms. There is one downstairs room available for disabled access. The people we support also have access to a quiet communal lounge where they can use a computer or enjoy watching films.
