Overview
Southwell Road East is a compassionate care home that fosters the well-being and fulfilment of adults aged 18-65 with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
We believe in empowering our residents to take an active role in their support. Through personalised support plans, we work closely with each individual to identify their unique needs and aspirations.
Every resident has a designated support worker who provides personalised assistance to promote their health and independence. Residents can access both individual and group support sessions to meet their specific requirements.
At Southwell Road East, we strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all. We encourage open communication and value resident feedback to continuously improve our services.
We take pride in celebrating our residents' accomplishments and sharing their inspiring stories. They actively participate in community projects and play a vital role in organising One Fest, an annual festival that challenges the stigma associated with learning disabilities.
One of our remarkable residents, Lizzie, played a significant role in NCHA’s 50th anniversary celebrations. Her story was featured in an exhibition at Nottingham Contemporary and a special on Notts TV, showcasing the transformative impact of our care.
Southwell Road East is regularly inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and has consistently received a 'Good' rating, reflecting our commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
