Overview
"Our Residents do not live in our Workplace, We work in their Home
Richmond Care Home, where care matters.
Richmond Care Home is located within the residential area of Shirebrook on Recreation Road.
We are conveniently located within a short distance of local shops and the town centre. Set within half an acre of land, our home offers peaceful surroundings, with ample car parking for visitors.
Our 40-bedroom home offers warm and comfortable accommodation to residential clients, including those living with dementia.
Our on-site facilities include a hairdressing salon, cafe and a big screen for film viewings. Outings are regularly arranged in Shirebrook and the surrounding area for those wishing to spend time outside of the home.
The Care We Provide
At Richmond Care Home, the residents receive the level of care which their own situation requires. We strive to satisfy the full range of personal, social, physical, clinical, spiritual and emotional needs of the individual.
We offer managed care for residents requiring daily treatments or supervision. Our staff have wide experience of providing care for dementia, strokes, cancer, Parkinsons disease, epilepsy, visual and hearing impairment as well as palliative care.
With many residents restricted in physical activity, fulfilment and everyday life depends more upon comfort, congenial company and good care. Our residents are encouraged to entertain their own guests and families who can be invited to join them for lunch or an evening meal.
Whether you are looking for a care home placement in the short term, medium-term or on a permanent basis, Richmond is happy to offer prospective residents many options.
