Set in the beautiful village of Middleton within easy reach from Corby, Kettering, Market Harborough, Northamptonshire and Leicestershire Manor House care home has been successfully supporting residents with dementia for over 30 years.
Manor House has always chosen to operate with a higher staffing ratio to residents than the average dementia care home. This ensures every resident is supported in personal centred way , relaxed, unhurried manner and allows for plenty of interaction between the carer and the resident.
For the last 11 years Manor House has held an Enhanced Dementia classification, which signifies the home has the ability to care for residents whose dementia has deteriorated to enhanced levels. We implement a continuous training and development program for all our carers and every single member of staff including the chef and the cleaning staff are trained in dementia care. We stay abreast of all the latest therapies and advancement in the field of dementia care to ensure that as the needs of the resident changes over time we are also able to adapt to continually meet their needs.
Manor house also has it own vehicle which enable them to transport residents to days out and shopping trips.
