Overview
Nestled in beautiful, open countryside, Brendoncare Froxfield is a peaceful place surrounded by nature where nursing and award-winning dementia care support residents to live contented lives. Our care home has spacious, comfortable bedrooms for 44 residents, divided into three households, creating the atmosphere of living in a small family group. All our rooms have a 24-hour call system, giving peace of mind, day or night. There are assisted bathrooms and wheelchair accessible shower rooms close to every room. Residents are welcome to bring their own personal belongings such as photographs and pictures to make their room feel more familiar and homely. We provide nursing, dementia, respite and end of life care at Froxfield. Residents receive personalised care tailored to their individual needs, delivered by our experienced nurses and carers who are available 24 hours a day. Our nursing care offers support to those needing regular nursing due to more complex needs such as physical illnesses or medical conditions. Our trained staff provide excellent dementia care in a safe environment. Respite care gives short-term support to those recovering from an illness, hospital stay, or when carers take a break. End of life or palliative care supports those in the last months of their lives enabling them to continue living with dignity. Set in rolling countryside, our nursing home is a peaceful, restful place surrounded by nature. Expansive windows and doors make it feel light and spacious. Our communal lounge is the hub for our numerous activities. There are also several lounge areas, a dining area and hairdressing salon, together with a licensed restaurant. Our conservatory is a popular place to soak up the sunshine and residents can find a peaceful part of the garden in which to relax. Our large garden also features a dementia friendly sensory garden, potting shed and patio spaces.
