Overview
In the delightful village of Merriott, Somerset, you will find Careford Lodge, a purpose-built residential care home that has the capacity to provide excellent standards of care to a maximum of eighteen residents.
Careford Lodge is set in two acres of land and lead to paddocks where horses are stabled. We are ideally situated close to the centre of Merriott village, close to All Saints Merriott church and the Kings Head public house. Merriott itself is near the town of Crewkerne, seven miles west of Yeovil and has a population of around 2,000 friendly people.
It is of course our priority at Careford Lodge to provide all our residents with the necessary care and attention needed for those who just require that extra help to enable them to get the best out of life. It’s also our priority to provide our residents with a secure and welcoming environment while maintaining their rights to privacy, dignity and independence.
All our beautifully decorated bedrooms are of a generous size, and all of them have full en-suite facilities with either baths or showers, TV and telephone points, and a Nurse Call system for that extra bit of peace-of-mind.
For social activities and communal enjoyment, we have a choice of three spacious lounges, one of which is a gorgeous conservatory.
Aside from the en-suite bathrooms, we also have an assisted bathroom, assisted shower room and toilet available at all times for those residents who need a little extra help.
In addition, for non-residents, we can provide extensive day-care facilities.
