Overview
The Gables Care Home is a residential and nursing home in a quiet residential area of Middlesbrough, within easy walking distance of a main bus route and the Highfield Hotel.
The home accommodates 64 residents who have residential and nursing needs, as well as those living with dementia. The Gables Care Home also offers short stay services, day care and respite care. The home also accepts residents on a discharge to assess basis.
The Gables has a full time activities coordinator who ensures that residents enjoy stimulating and fun activities and events. Outings are always held during the warmer months and singers regularly entertain the residents at the home. We also encourage intergenerational activities by inviting local schools and members of the Middlesbrough FC foundation to visit residents.
