Overview
At Chestnut Grange we provide high quality care and support to nine people with learning disabilities, autism and accompanying complex needs.
We have a range of spacious, communal spaces including a lounge, dining area, activity room, and pamper room, offering the people we support the chance to engage socially, enjoy time alone, or participate in a range of activities organised by the service. Chestnut Grange is surrounded by well-kept gardens on three sides of the building, which include mature plants, a herb garden, a built-in barbecue, and multiple seating and dining areas. The people we support have the option to assist in the upkeep of the gardens, enhancing their daily living skills.
Chestnut Grange is situated in a rural village. Everyone is encouraged and supported to make the most of community resources and take part in a range of creative and diverse activities, using public transport where necessary, to build independence. The nearby town of Newark has excellent educational options. The people we support can take part in activities and classes at a nearby farm, where they can also meet people from other local services.
