Overview
Chase Park Neuro Centre is a home in the Whickham area of Newcastle Upon Tyne, which can accommodate 60 residents. Care can be provided for young people with physical disabilities. Chase Park Neuro Centre also offers the following short stay services; respite care, intermediate care and rehabilitation.
Chase Park supports adults of all ages, abilities and disabilities. Our purpose is to promote service user well-being and to work with each individual ensuring their best interests are respected while assisting adults that require long-term nursing needs as well as those moving back into independent living after a period of rehabilitation. This service is provided to service users who can and will benefit from sessions with our on-site Occupational & Physiotherapists.
We offer high quality nursing care across our two suites including offering respite breaks and sensitive end of life care.
We aim to promote the independence, inclusion and well-being of people with support needs. We do this by working with individuals, their families and partner agencies to deliver innovative, high-quality services that meet the individual’s needs and aspirations and this is delivered in a person-centred way. Chase Park works closely with Walkergate Park Hospital.
We have 60 Beds across two buildings. Both are specially designed and adapted to provide the highest standards of accommodation and care. The majority of rooms have en-suite facilities or wet rooms, and many also have lovely views over our Japanese-style gardens.
Both buildings offer facilities specifically for service users to help assist with skills in preparation for independent living when they move back into the community. Our ground-floor living offers long-term care for individuals, or couples, who require a range of nursing needs.
There is a fully stocked therapy gym and hydro-pool on-site with a skilled therapy team facilitating the highest levels of rehabilitation and care.
The main building also has a café that serves food and drink and provides a welcome destination for those living with us, their families and visitors, and this overlooks the wonderful Feng Shui gardens with a fish pond.
