Waverley Lodge is a Nursing and Residential home located in the Lemington area of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. The purpose-built home has 45 warm and welcoming bedrooms with their own en suites. The sunny, spacious lounges and dining rooms overlook the extensive gardens that surround the home.

The nursing and care team provide support for people who have become too frail to look after themselves as well as those living with dementia and mental health needs. The team also care for young people with physical disabilities. In addition, the home offers short stay services; Respite and Day care. Working closely with the teams at local hospitals, Waverley Lodge also supports discharge to assess placements, intermediate care, and periods of rehabilitation.

The dedicated activities coordinator tailors events, activities and outings around residents and their interests. In the warmer months we encourage residents to enjoy the outdoor spaces and gardens where many people relish the opportunity to grow their own flowers and vegetables. Family members and friends are always welcome to visit and to participate in events too.

The catering team produces delicious home cooked food from a 5-star hygiene rated kitchen. Special dietary needs and personal preferences are part of this taste-laden service.
