Elmtree House is a comfortable, homely conversion of an Edwardian redbrick house on the quiet outskirts of Newton-le-Willows with a “Good” rating from CQC.
Elmtree House is a small family home which can accommodate 20 full-time residents and we are able to offer short term and long term stays including respite care if needed. We also offer residential care to individuals with early to late onset Dementia. Set within its own modest grounds the property has a car park to the front of the house and gardens to the side and rear of the property. The gardens are totally accessible for residents with mobility issues, with a small greenhouse, fish pond and patio area for dining outside and entertaining.
As a private residential care home we pride ourselves on offering the personal touch. Our trained care team of dedicated and compassionate professionals ensure that all residents receive personalised attention and support. We prioritise the physical and mental wellbeing of our residents providing round the clock care, nutritious meals, and access to medical services. We understand the meaning of person centred care; striving to respect the independence and individuality of all our residents. The safety and comfort of residents are the prime concern of everyone working here.
Our management team and owner have an open door policy, maintaining transparent and inclusive communication channels with all residents and their families. We are also very proud of our catering team who make all our food on the premises and have recently achieved a level 5 in Food Hygiene Rating for all areas. We pride ourselves on creating a vibrant and inclusive community for all residents with a wide range of activities designed to cater for individuals various interests. One unique aspect of our care home is the integration of nursery children who connect weekly with our residents. We have found this intergenerational interaction brings joy and a sense of purpose to both the young children and our residents.
