Overview
Meadow View is our residential home, a purpose-built bungalow fully accessible which can accommodate 7 adults with a Learning Disability. It is located in the area of Northampton and has been rated 'Good' by the CQC.
We support our Residents using a person-centred approach, nurturing and encouraging them to participate in their own care and choices; and supporting them to manage their personal, social and health needs. We promote independence with support, asking our Residents to participate in the day-to-day running of their home which could include maintaining their own rooms, laundry, assisting at mealtimes. We encourage Residents’ choice for example through involving them in menu planning, shopping for food and preparing meals for themselves or for the Resident family.
All rooms at Meadow View are en-suite and decorated according to the residents’ individual preferences, so they can feel even more at home here. Pets are also welcome in rooms.
You can enjoy Meadow View's spacious kitchen-dining room or relax in our shared living area, focusing on residents wellbeing. Residents also have the opportunity to relax in our decorated courtyard or garden areas.
Meadow View has nearby key medical facilities including a GP and a Pharmacy. It has good travel links with a bus station and a train station close to the home. A supermarket, bank, cinema and pub can also be found in the area.
We support Residents to pursue their hobbies and interests within the local community, including their church or day services. We provide staff support where necessary to enable them to have a good experience.
We promote quality and diversity in all aspects of care, encouraging awareness of different cultures through having different themed events.
