Overview

Welcome to Hassingham House Care Centre in Hingham, Norfolk. Situated in a pretty Georgian market town Hassingham House offers 24-hour neurological and spinal injury nursing care for those over the age of 30 and expert nursing care for persons aged 65 and over, in one community. They are blessed with a long-serving team of nursing and support staff that provide high-quality, person-centred care within a homely environment. They offer long-term, respite and recuperative care.

The purpose-built facility comprises 44 spacious single bedrooms, equipped as standard with an en-suite W.C. and a hand basin. The home boasts music and sensory facilities, a well-maintained courtyard and sensory gardens. They encourage residents to furnish their new surroundings with familiar pieces of furniture and personal possessions to make them feel truly at home. While the home's bedrooms provide a tranquil area to rest and relax, the modern, attractively furnished lounge areas allow residents to catch up with friends over a pot of tea, enjoy one of the guest entertainers or recline in front of their favourite films.

At Hassingham House, they encourage residents to take part in a range of engaging activities based on their lifestyle needs and preferences. Many of the home's activities occur within the home environment and include garden parties, barbecues, arts/crafts and quiz nights. The team empowers individuals to enjoy those everyday routines they cherish, whether having a salon blow-dry and manicure or keeping up to date with their favourite football team. All are encouraged and available. The residents enjoy the wider community, with independent shops, several churches and local greens all within a short distance.

Hassingham House's catering team delivers nutritious meals that appeal to its residents.
