Overview
Nestled just off Mansfield Road in Nottingham, Watcombe Circus offers a safe and supportive home for 12 adults over the age of 18 with learning disabilities.
To access our services, a referral from a social worker is required. We invite potential residents for an initial meeting to discuss their needs and arrange a comprehensive site visit.
Watcombe Circus provides long-term residential accommodation and individualised support tailored to each resident's unique abilities and goals.
We value resident input and encourage them to express their views and wishes through regular 'Speak Out Saturdays' and personal interactions. We recognise that diversity enriches our community.
Each resident is assigned a dedicated keyworker who provides support throughout the transition and ongoing journey. Keyworkers collaborate with residents to establish support plans and foster personal growth.
We prioritise social interaction and encourage residents to explore new interests while continuing to enjoy their passions. We ensure that everyone feels included and valued.
Watcombe Circus features:
* 12 bedrooms
* Lift access to all floors and ramps into the building
* Communal areas including a kitchen, dining room, lounges, and activity room
* Bathrooms and wet rooms on all floors
* A quiet space on the top floor for relaxation
* Two patio areas and a sensory garden
Our sensory garden offers a retreat where residents can connect with nature. The abundance of squirrels and birds enhances the tranquil ambiance.
Within close proximity to Sherwood and Arnold, our location boasts an array of transportation options with convenient bus stops just steps away.
Our dedication to providing exceptional care is evident in our regular inspections by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We are proud to maintain a consistent rating of 'Good', a testament to our commitment to delivering the highest standards of care and wellbeing for our residents.
