Church Farm is a nursing home based in the centre of the beautiful village Cotgrave just south of Nottingham. We specialise in the care of people living with dementia.
The quality of care that we provide has been recognised by Nottingham County Council with the 'Dementia Quality Mark' and Band 5 rating.
RATED: Band 5 with Nottingham County Council
We also have the Dementia Quality Mark which recognises the quality of support given to people who live with a dementia.
RATED: Level 1, Dementia Care Matters Butterfly Household Home.
Our aim at Church Farm Care is to create environments that look and feel like ‘home.’ We achieve this with small intimate households with living and dining all situated close by. People share their lives with a family of people living and working together. At Church Farm, Cotgrave there are three households, each feels familiar and is designed to reflect the needs and support the lifestyles of the people living there. Lifelong occupations continue in people's daily life.
People’s own bedrooms provide private space personal to them, enhanced with their own belongings and creating a feeling of familiarity and safety that is truly their own. Easy access from the lounges to two enclosed gardens provides a sense of freedom and independence for people as they freely take a walk outside; sit and chat on a bench, help hang the washing out and sweep the paths.
Mealtimes are very important sociable times when people who live in the house and people who work in the house come together as a family group, enhanced by people who visit and share this time with us.
