Overview
Rutland House Community Trust Ltd (RHCT) is a small charity who supports adults with learning disabilities based in Oakham, Rutland.
Our aim is to provide a safe and supportive environment, based on best care values, where adults with learning disabilities can maximise their individual potential for independence and progression.
Rutland House Community Trust owns Willowbrook, a 10-bedded registered residential care home for adults with learning disabilities, it has a 'Good' rating from the CQC.
Willowbrook provides single storey accommodation for 10 people. Each person has their own private room and shared use of bathroom / shower room, toilets and communal areas.
The house has a large open plan lounge / dining area.
There are 10 single bedrooms. Each bedroom door is fitted with a lock.
All bedrooms are furnished and have hand basins / vanity units. Service users may choose to personalise their room by bringing their own furniture and personal belongings and decorating their room to reflect their individual choices and interests.
Each bedroom has a television aerial point. Each bedroom has a locked cupboard for personal belongings, medication and financial affects.
The home has under-floor heating and the temperature of each room can be individually controlled.
The garden is landscaped and well maintained with lawns, shrubs, flowers, a patio area and footpaths. There is a selection of garden furniture & summer house. The residents also have access to two allotment plots behind Willowbrook where vegetables and fruit are grown.
Willowbrook has 2 wheelchair adapted vehicles that are available for the use of the service users at all times.
