Wisteria House Residential Home - Rutland is a home in the Uppingham area of Oakham, which can accommodate 16 residents - it has a 'Good' rating from the CQC. Care can be provided for those with dementia. Wisteria House Residential Home - Rutland also offers the following short stay services; respite care.

The home is dedicated to the provision of the finest care for its service users. This will be achieved through the integration of efficient administrative practices with first class standards of care in accordance with the requirements for the registration and appropriate supplementary regulations and the care homes for older people, national Minimum Standards.
Wisteria House is currently registered for 16 residents, there are 16 rooms in total, 11 are single occupancy and 1 double room with a further 4 rooms offering accommodation for those who would benefit from independent living. All the rooms have their own bathroom facilities. Men and women service users are all over the age of 75 years.
Wisteria House is a small family run home with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Wisteria House aims to provide a service which is not bias on religious, personal or cultural grounds, who assesses the individual needs of each service user with a person-centred care plan, which delivers its regulated activities with fully trained staff members who are caring, helpful and courteous. Wisteria House aims to provide a safe and comfortable living environment for its service users as well as protecting the health and safety of all employees.
Wisteria House cannot provide nursing care, as the home is not registered as a nursing home, however a service user will remain at Wisteria House until nursing care is required beyond the point of what is available at the home with the use of the District Nurse and other health care services or on the Doctors advice. Every effort will be made to allow the service user to remain at home providing their care support and welfare needs are not jeopardized.
Wisteria house have fully trained staff who are always willing to further their skills by completing training that will upskill their knowledge to provide high quality care to all service users.
At wisteria house, we use local produce to provide a home cooked meal daily and ensure the service user have a varied and well balanced choice of diet at all times.
