Overview
Springfield Court Nursing Home is a residential care and nursing home in the Aughton area of Ormskirk, which can accommodate 60 residents - it has an 'Outstanding' rating from the CQC.
Springfield Court Nursing Home rooms are all on the ground floor and the upper level is occupied by the owners of 35 years. The management team and staff work alongside the owners, Colin and Wendy Wilkinson and Margaret (and formerly Bob) Pollitt to provide outstanding care for our residents. The manager is in her 20th year and has an excellent team of nurses, carers, domestics, chefs and activities co-ordinators and handymen - many of our staff have been with us for a considerable number of years and provide excellent continuity of person centred care, with a wealth of differing knowledge between them to settle our residents into our 'family feel' home. We have two registered nurses on duty at all times who are assisted by the large team of staff around them.
We pride ourselves in having our own Theatre of Dreams for our wide range of activities which are available to all our residents and their families. These activities include cabaret evenings, enrichment evenings, art classes, quizzes, crafts, song, dance and light exercise entertaining and many many more to meet everyone's wishes. Our activities team also arrange outings for our residents, together with walks around our beautiful gardens and nearby sites.
We have an open visiting policy and with our 3 conservatories, Theatre of Dreams, Theatre Cafe, beautiful gardens with seating areas and new pagoda, there are plenty of different areas for people to sit and enjoy their day, with professionals around them to assist when needed.
We welcome anyone to come and view our home at any time and and answer any questions you may have.
