Overview
Roundham Court is a beautiful Victorian house that offers peaceful and elegant living. It sits on the cliff top with breath-taking views that stretch from Berry Head near Brixham to Thatcher Rock, close to Torquay.
Designed on a grand scale, the house has a carved oak staircase, a gallery, numerous ornate fireplaces and intricate mouldings throughout.
The beautiful and very regal sitting room has been imaginatively decorated to complement the grand surroundings. Easy chairs and sofas are plentiful for our residents to either delight in looking out of the bay window at the views that surround the house or just enjoying reading or chatting.
Roundham Court provides a variety of choice with its accommodation for 35 residents, comprising 34 single bedrooms, the majority of which have en-suite facilities, two of these are large enough to be companion rooms for those who wish to share. Most of the bedrooms also offer stunning views across the bay.
A large sheltered patio area is available for our residents to enjoy the sunny South Devon weather. It’s an ideal spot for relaxing, chatting with friends and family or just watching the boats come and go in the bay. Only a short stroll away is the harbour, a good variety of shops, a post office and our local church.
The home has a 'Good' rating from the CQC. Roundham Court also offers the following short stay services; respite care, intermediate care and reablement support.
